Our Story
Dream Egeiro is more than clothing, it is a mindset. A mindset inspired and illustrated by the example Jesus set forth through his lifestyle and earthly ministry. In the gospel of John chapter five we find Jesus at a Jewish Festival in Jerusalem where he made it his priority to stop by the pool of Bethesda and visit with disabled people. In the crowd Jesus talked with individuals that were blind, lame, and paralyzed. They were waiting for a miraculous moment when an angel would come and stir the water in the pool. The first person to enter the water would be healed or in other words their “Biggest Dream” would become their reality.
While walking through the crowd Jesus noticed a paralyzed man who had been lying on his bed in that condition for 38 years. He most likely had been carried from his home to the pool by loved ones. Jesus, knowing his condition, asked him “Do you want to get well", or in other words, do you want your “Biggest Dream” to become your reality today? The man responded to Jesus with excuses.
He said, I would love for my “Biggest Dream” to become my reality today but I don’t have anyone to put me in the pool once the angel has stirred it up. Jesus didn’t entertain the excuse, instead Jesus encouraged him to activate his faith by telling him to EGEIRO in the Greek language which means to (ARISE, AWAKEN, GET UP). Jesus told him to “Pick His Bed Up” and walk. The man instantly believed, picked up his bed, and walked, taking his “Biggest Dream” from out of his head into his hand.
Thirteen years ago, I encountered this life transforming story about Jesus and the paralyzed man and it inspired me to EGEIRO, to ARISE, to GET UP. I was AWAKENED by the Dreams that were lying dormant in my life like the paralyzed man lying on his bed for 38 years. EGEIRO is more than motivation, that will only get you started. EGEIRO equipped me with discipline that ensured I would keep going in spite of the difficult challenges and seemingly insurmountable obstacles that stand in the way of DREAMERS. I would love to share with you my story, the open doors, and impact that EGEIRO continues to make in my life but it would benefit you more to allowed EGEIRO to co-author your story, taking the DREAMS out of your head and placing them into your hands.
